FAQ
-
What’s included in the price of the retreat?
Retreat pricing includes luxurious accommodations, nourishing meals prepared by a private chef, curated experiences, transformative ceremonies, local transportation, and a few soulful surprises along the way.
-
What's not included in the price of the retreat?
Airfare and travel insurance are not included. We invite you to arrive with intention—what matters most will be here waiting.
-
Do I have to participate in everything?
No. Your experience is your own. We invite you to listen to what your body and energy need each day. Everything is optional. You’ll never be pressured to share or join in.
-
What are rituals/ceremonies, and why are we doing them?
They are focused, mindful practices with a specific intention - whether that’s healing, transformation, release, or joy. These practices help process what you’re carrying - in your mind, your body, your spirit - and transmute it into something meaningful.
Whether you realize it or not, you already have rituals in your life. Morning coffee. A deep breath before a big conversation. Lighting a candle. These are all ways we focus, ground, and move with purpose.
-
What if I come alone?
You won’t be the only one. Many of our guests come solo—and our retreats are a beautiful place to connect with light-hearted people. From the moment you land, you’ll be held in community.
That said, there’s no pressure to socialize. We honor those who need solitude and space to go inward. Whether you’re here to find community, reconnect with yourself, or both, you’ll be supported every step of the way.
-
Who are these retreats for?
Our retreats are for people who are open to growth and ready to slow down. You don’t need to have a spiritual practice or know exactly what you’re looking for—you just need to feel the pull to step away from the noise and reconnect with yourself.
We use the word soul-seeker to describe anyone who’s curious about living with more intention. That might mean you’re navigating a transition, craving stillness, longing for clarity, or simply ready to feel more grounded and present. If you’re open to reflection and gentle transformation—you’ll feel right at home here.
-
Do I need experience with meditation or ritual?
Not at all. Moonwake Retreats are created for anyone who feels called—whether you’re just beginning your journey or have years of experience. There’s no “right” way to show up—just your way.
-
Are the retreats open to all genders?
Yes. Moonwake Retreats are open to all genders and identities. While we are a women-founded space and many of our guests identify as women, we welcome anyone—of any gender or orientation—who feels called to this work.
We strive to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone.
-
How many people will be on the retreat?
We welcome up to 12 guests per retreat. This smaller group size allows for a meaningful experience, personal guidance, and a strong sense of care. You’ll be supported by two experienced facilitators, with additional contributions from local partners.
-
Will I be sharing a room?
Most guests will have their own private room, which is included in the standard retreat price. A limited number of shared rooms may be available at a discounted rate, depending on the retreat location. These are ideal for friends traveling together.
Unlike many retreats, we believe your alone time is sacred—so private space comes standard.
-
How do I get to the retreat from the airport?
Round-trip airport transportation is included. We provide both pickup and drop-off on the retreat start and end dates. You’ll receive full details—like timing and meeting location—after booking, based on the retreat location.
We’ve got you from the moment you land to the moment you leave.
-
How much free time will I have?
Each day is thoughtfully designed with ritual, curated experiences, and time for integration. While rest and reflection are built into the schedule, our days are intentionally rich. You’re always welcome to opt out of any activity if you need more spaciousness.
If solo exploration is a priority for you, we recommend arriving early or staying a bit longer to experience more of the area on your own terms.
